This is an 8 Oz (60 Yard) roll of butcher cord that is traditionally used to tie roasts. It is great for binding, tying, wrapping, and hanging, but it is unsuitable for almost all types of sewing. The cord's break strength is about 50 Lbs, its diameter is 0/03 inches, and it does not stretch. It is a great, low cost alternative to Kevlar as long as you do not need Kevlar's fire retardant properties and do not mind its thickness.
