Shipping and Return Policies


 

Same Day Shipping - We normally ship orders received by 3PM Eastern Time on the same day. There are exceptions. Orders received on weekends and holidays, including Black Friday and Christmas Eve, ship on the next business day. Also unsafe weather conditions, computer problems, and invalid address information may cause delays.

Shipping Charges - We ship by USPS, UPS and FedEx. We charge you what they charge us. There are no hidden handling charges. You are welcome to ship UPS or FedEx collect. Just put your account in the order message box and we will refund our shipping charges.

Shipping Charge Estimates - When you go to your Shopping Cart you can estimate shipping charges without giving any personal information. The UPS and FedEx estimates assume that you are shipping to a business address. If you are shipping to a residential address the charges will be slightly higher.

Shipping Addresses - Unless told otherwise, we ship to the exact ship-to address on your order. Our system checks addresses. If your ship-to address is "unshippable" we will contact you immediately and hold your order until we can fix the problem.

Shipping Times - We have shipping maps that show approximate shipping days for UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Time in Transit Maps We do not guarantee actual shipping times because they are beyond our control once packages are picked up. We cannot be responsible for lost packages once they are picked up. If there is a mistake on our part, we will refund the shipping charge. Our customer service representatives will help if there is a problem.

Tracking Information - We automatically email tracking information to your ship-to email address. Unfortunately, these emails sometimes go to spam folders. Please check.

International Shipping - We ship anywhere in the world where the risk of fraud is acceptable. Our systems create the required paperwork for your shipment. Our  shipping charges do not include brokerage fees, duties, and taxes.

Canadian Customers - We do not recommend shipping by UPS unless you have an account. They add brokerage charges that are sometimes more than the shipping cost itself. These charges are not part of our shipping charge.

Returns and Refunds - You are welcome to return thread within 30 days of purchase. No return authorization is required. Please provide enough information to find your order.

  • We refund the cost of your thread if it is in saleable condition.

  • We do not refund shipping unless we caused the problem (e.g. shipped the wrong product). In that case we refund your shipping and the cost of returning the thread to us.

  • Any credit agreed upon must be claimed within 30 days of initial purchase.
