    Hemp twine is also known as hemp string, and hemp cord. Hemp is the strongest of all natural fibers, with a 20 Lb. tensile strength. It is 1 mm in diameter, and is a great choice for beading, jewelry and macrame. It is also also UV and salt water resistant. Hemp twine is also grown with little to no use of pesticides or herbicides. It is better for use with eco-friendly projects. It is legal in the U.S.A. and Canada, but other juristictions may vary. Even in countries where it is legal, shipping transit times may be affected due to inspection.
