Size 554 (Tex 600) polyester thread is our heaviest thread with a 1 mm diameter. It requires a heavy duty sewing machine with a size 330/30 to 360/32 needle. It is used for very heavy duty hand and machine sewing and for tying, binding, and hanging objects. Stitches are a focal point.
