Mettler 40-Weight Cotton Thread
Perfect for Patchwork - SILK-FINISH COTTON 40 is made from
100% long-staple Egyptian cotton and
is excellently suited for patchwork and
quilting projects. Since this thread is
somewhat thicker, you can achieve particularly
beautiful decorative seams and
impressive embroidery patterns with it.
However, those patterns should not be
too densely digitized. A mercerization
process during the thread production
makes the sewing thread more tearproof,
low-shrink, and iron-proof. That is
what makes it so fabulously versatile. Do
not hesitate to use SILK-FINISH COTTON
40 also for sewing. Cross-stitch
patterns also turn out extremely well
with this sewing thread. You can even try
the thread as a looper when overlocking:
In combination with SERACOR as needle
thread, you can expect great effects.
Use a 80 / 12 to 90 / 14 needle
