Using this Guide
Time in Transit maps are for stock items that ship from our warehouse in Weaverville, NC 28787 (just outside Asheville). They can help to provide the best value for shipping, and help to avoid unnecessary and costly selections.
Ways to Save
Time versus Cost
There are many cases where the Ground transit may be the same, or even faster than some expedited services.

For example, an order placed that is 1 day away by Ground has the same transit time as regular Next Day Air or Overnight shipment.
A 2 Lb. package, with a 1 day Ground transit time is in the $11 range. Overnight is in the $45 range with the same transit time and package weight. Selecting Ground would result in a $34 savings. Priority Mail has a 2 to 3 day transit time. It is often the best value for packages weighing up to 4 Lbs.

Ground transit times are very reliable. Although rare, delayed packages with ground occur more often than with expedited methods. Next Day Air and Overnight are better options for added assurance. It is also important to note that 2 and 3 day expedited options may actually slow down time in transit to destinations with a 1 day Ground transit time. We make every effort to alert customers of potential savings when we see a more cost-effective selection can be made.

Compare Time in Transit Maps
USPS, UPS and FedEx have some different ground times in transit depending on destination with a minimal price difference in many cases. It is possible one might have an advantage over the other with time. The maps below have detailed information. On the checkout page there is a feature to see the maps only for easier comparison.
